Community-Based Mural Project
“LE MUR BIARRITZ”
VOICES OF THE COMMUNITY
Welcome to our mural for “Le Mur Biarritz”, a collaborative exploration of community identity and collective perspectives through the lens of street art. This mural captures the essence of Biarritz, a town in the South West Coast of France, intertwining the perspectives of its residents with my unique artistic vision.
Vision and Concept
The mural is a tapestry of voices and visions from the community, reflecting their connections to Biarritz in the Basque Country, France. By engaging with local residents across different ages and backgrounds, asking them the same question “ What Biarritz means to you? ” I took their individual answers and collected them together in a cohesive interpretation with my own style and experiences in town.
This project aligns with my ongoing exploration of reality as a multifaceted illusion, influenced by diverse viewpoints.

conclusion
This mural project is not just a visual representation but a dialogue between the artist and the community, emphasizing the shared reality and collective identity of Biarritz. Through this artwork, I aim to highlight the beauty of seeing the world from multiple perspectives, inviting viewers to look beyond the surface and appreciate the deeper connections that bind us all.
COMMUNITY FEEDBACK
“I really like the break in style of the piece. It makes them very dynamic and makes you want to look at the smallest detail.”
— Age 16
“I perceive love, water, Biarritz is a traditional and modern jewel at the same time. Great job.”
— Age 32
“The guy is super hot, a mix of style, a superposition of geometry and cubes that i really like. The nods to the basque country are there, the touches of colors follow each other well. It's modern, and I would definitely see it in my living room.”
