avatar.
Think about how technology mediates the way we perceive reality. Technology allows us to hide ourselves, highlighting certain qualities of our personality while hiding others, and, as a result, we are creating a new persona and digital ego.
This is the Avatar that fits our imaginary self. It is as if we put glasses on with which we view our own reality, even if we are also constantly framing reality for ourselves. So I asked myself as an artist how this digital ego would look in a painting.
“ In my opinion, this Avatar will be like a comic character surrounded by gadgets and effects that make us look different than we really are. ”
